What is it? Launched by theCity of Alvarado Economic Development Corporation, the Program helps local entrepreneurs turn their culinary vision into reality by providing a fully equipped food truck, business coaching & marketing support — handing them the keys… literally — so they can serve up bold flavors to our community.
Every six months, a new local entrepreneur takes the wheel. Each chef brings their own vision, flavor, and menu to the truck — so there’s always something fresh to taste and someone new to meet. When one season ends, another bold culinary adventure begins!

"I am an Alvarado resident with a dream of having my own business. I am a Christian, a mom, a little league sports fan, and an avid reader. I love to cook and try all kinds of foods. My family has a blended culture of Texan and Punjabi and we love to combine our favorite recipes to bring out the best of both, which is what gave me the idea for the truck. My working background is in healthcare and management. I work well under pressure and enjoy being able to work creatively and efficiently overcome arising challenges."
